I prefer Swype over the default Android Keyboard.

For those who don't know what Swype is, Read here.

Swype vs Normal Keypad ?

My Streak came with swype defaultly installed and enabled.

To be honest, its a bit cumbersome and difficult on a screen of that size, though once youve turned all of swype's auto-functions off, its a nice, large keyboard that works better than the default droid one.

Though if I could find one like the iPhone one, or the one on the Galaxy S - I'd prefer that

Yeah..Its a bit cumbersome on the Galaxy Tab too but once you get used to rubbing your finger across the screen its easy.

Swype is amazing.

Much faster, more accurate, less tiring, and you can type quickly and easily with one hand. iPhone owners are missing out.

None. SwiftkeyX (free app) is brilliant in my opinion.

Comparing swipe with normal keyboard is like comparing windows 95 with Windows XP! Swype has all the features of normal keyboard (including tap input) and adds the swipe feature as an extra! You can get swipe free from their main website.

I've tried both in a friend's phone, and I think I like the normal keyboard better. However, I'll try it again soon.

I really love Swype, since it is more predictable and you have the advantage of get the most common words you uses ready in the time, once you are using them.

Swype r0x Smile

Really, both I dislike, I always disliked both & liked iOS keyboards more. IDK but like the auto do & I know the auto correct function sucked on the iOS. I wanna develop a median one day that's ultimately awesome Smile

Swype vs Normal Keypad ?

I've tried both Swype and my phone's default and I decant for the default more.
Now, I have a question: is there any difference between the Swype Samsung installs by default and the one that can be downloaded from its page?
