Being logged in a www.website.com, but not at website.com

I am having a minor issue, but it is really frustrating. Since my website has a database with members/users, I need to make sure that they are logged in whether they go it http://www.ireipets.com, or just ireipets.com.

Say I login at http://www.ireipets.com, and then change the URL to ireipets.com, I will not be logged in anymore. Can I change this so they are logged in with the www. and without? Can I change the .htaccess file or something?

FORCE "www." : http://www.besthostratings.com/articles/...ccess.html

Otherwise, its just some minor tweaks to how your cookies are stored from your script.
