I can never sign up. The server crashes right before I can.

That's an odd one. I've never come across that problem personally.

In My Opinion if its free its free and i do prefer .tk because the whole point of a domain is for it to be short and easy to remember

Free domains have a bad reputation and are blocked by a lot of people. Spam uses free domains a lot.
Google now blocking all co.cc subdomains from search, but who’s next?

.tk isnt as bad, but still unpopular.
searck .tk blocked

If you have a free webhost and you attatch a free domain to it they might kick you.

That is cool, I didn't know there was a free domain name service, and .tk is a very nice domain too!
Thank you very much for this!

.tk has too many ads and they are only free for 1year. If you ask me, a subdomain is much better! I used to use .us.to or .uk.to from http://freedns.afraid.org/

The are very good. 5 subdomains per account.
