Think of Windows 8

I've tried Windows 7 and didn't really like it. I'm so used to XP so it's hard to get used to another software.

I know Windows 8 is Windows 7 interface better.
More technology integrated cloud, compatible with Tablet, do not require high computer configuration.

Its quite simple. The interface is different but is user friendly.

I dont know why but I think Windows 8 wont be a success if it ever comes out.... Microsoft always screws up after a good one.

I would advise even though your used to xp going with vista it performs much better then xp and is easy to pick up, as another user who switch directly form xp to win7

Windows 8 might be good but as alot of people know after nearly every good release of windows they come out with a terrible one such as me and vista.

I have Windows 8 Developer Preview... and it works just like Windows 7, except it's more touch-friendly.
So I don't think they messed up with this one, they did waste their time, though.

I disagree with the image, 98 was really bad... if microsoft keeps going the way they have Win8 will be mediocre at best, nothing in comparison to Win7

I actually like Windows 7 and it's the best Windows I've ever used. I will have to test Windows 8 with my new laptop, whenever I get it, however I don't think I'll be changing in the main computer.

Even so, I like all the effort Microsoft is putting in Windows 8!

Think of Windows 8

I've been using Windows 7 as my main os for the past couple of years, had to reinstall a lot of times. It's a lot better than Windows Xp, more updated. However, it looks like Windows 8 is going to be terrible, more bloatware and things that are not needed. So, I think Microsoft is going to end up losing a lot of consumers due to that. Yeah, businesses will end up using Windows 8 due to it being pre-installed on computers.

But people are going to end up switching to a linux or mac, even tho I couldn't get used to it. But, that's just me. Tongue

I believe it has the same (or very close) system requirements.

The beta version is free.... but does have bugs of course because it is a beta version. No version of windows will ever be free and a lot have tried it which has made a number of mixed reviews.
