Google has released Android 2.3 recently. Has anybody used it? Any reviews here?

I do know that real phones using this version will only be available much later. In fact you do not find many phones(there are few though) based on 2.2(froyo) in the market yet. The reason for seeking opinion is to get into development mode and check out the new features available.

Development mode as in developing apps for Android?

Sure yes. I used to develop small apps using Android2.0 about a year back and then for some unknown reason stopped development. Development and testing support on Android platform has been pretty good. As such I like the idea of running the applications on the PC without having to buy a phone, just to get the feel of the app.

I was thoroughly mistaken and believed you were asking about the productivity of Android 2.3 on a cell phone. However what you had done i.e. developing apps on android platform is cool!!

Android 2.3

It's much smoother than 2.2, more visually appealing and (unless it's a quirk of my EVO Shift) adds a lot of nifty GUI features.
