Antivirus PC 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware program that scams you to believe that your PC is infected by virus, spywares or malwares. It does a fake scan to list infected objects that can harm your system if you don't register their software to remove the infected files.

Don't believe anything it says in its application and never try to pay with your credit card. You can not just go into Control Panel to uninstall the program because it's hiding itself. It can copy itself and come back again if you are able to delete it's folder from Program Files.

2. Once you have it installed, run it and you will see the Malwarebytes's main window. On the top there is a list of tabs, we now click on the "Update" tab. Then click on "Check for Updates", Malwarebytes will try to update the virus definition if there is any. After the database is successfully updates, click "Ok" and go back to the "Scanner" tab.


3. Now click on the "Scan" button. Malwarebytes will start the virus scan process and it will take about 15 to 30 minutes for the quick scan. If you have time to wait, you can do the full scan and it might take up to 2 hours depending on your speed and size of your hard drive.


4. After the virus scan, Malwarebytes will list how many infected Antivirus PC 2009 objects in red, then you can click on "Show Results" and you will see a list of infected names with full path.


5. Click on "Remove Selected" button to start the Antivirus PC 2009 removal process. After the cleaning, you might see a windows pops up to ask you to reboot your PC to remove the rest of the remaining infected entries.
